With over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry, Rich joined the Thrive Team in 2024. Rich started his career at Merrill Lynch and has been an Advisor at several large financial institutions.  He specializes in retirement planning as well as Social Security claiming strategies and he enjoys helping clients create retirement paychecks to fulfill their retirement dreams.  Rich is passionate about providing unparalleled client service and thrives on building lasting relationships and helping clients navigate complex financial decisions with confidence.  Rich holds the Certified Financial Planner designation, CFP® and the National Social Security Advisor certificate.

Rich is married to his wife Lois and they are empty nesters.  They enjoy going to college football and basketball games and root for the Hokies, Boilermakers and Scarlet Knights.  Rich enjoys golfing and playing many games with his family.

Rich volunteers as a Red Cross blood drive coordinator and he is well on his way to personally donating ten gallons of blood!
